The Deacon Board at Ramoth form a body of spiritual leaders and servants.  A Deacon's primary duty is to serve as under shepherds, tending to a family of believers.  Jesus told Peter, "If you love Me, then care for My sheep."

New Testament Deacons serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church, doing benevolence work, visiting the sick, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation, promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
