REASON FOR SERVING:
It is my privilege to serve our Lord and His church out of gratitude for the unspeakable gift He gave me through personal faith in Jesus Christ.
FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:
Galatians 2:20 "I was crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in my flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me."
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I have been married for 25 years to Terry Gwyn Dodd Vickery, who is originally from Columbus, Mississippi. During our marriage God has blessed us with two sons. Gavin, our oldest, his wife Meagan and our granddaughters Nora Grace and Emme live in West Point. VA. Corbin, our youngest lives with us and attends University of Mary Washington. From a personal perspective, I enjoy reading, hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking, and being "Pops" to my granddaughters.

I have been serving Ramoth since January 2008.
REASON FOR SERVING:
It is my desire to help youth and young adults learn what it means to ‘remain in Christ’ through meaningful Bible study, fun, fellowship, exciting worship, and life changing outreach.
FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:
One of my favorite verses is John 15:5 “I am the vine and you are the branches. If any man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit. Apart from Me you can do nothing.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Prior to coming to Ramoth, my wife, Sara Beth and I served 7 years in Asia as missionaries with the International Mission Board (IMB). Sara Beth and I have been married over 10 years and have 3 daughters and 1 son.

I have been serving Ramoth since July 2010.
REASON FOR SERVING:
I started teaching Sunday school in a small country church named MOSSY GAP in Williamsburg, Kentucky at the age of 12. Since those early years I have been involved in children's ministry activities from teaching to event planning to my current job of Director of Children's Ministry. Serving God has been a deliberate part of my life. What is my motivation? Absolute love for my Savior, Jesus!

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I have been married 17 wonderful years to my elementary school sweetheart, Bryan Shelton. He has been in the Marine Corps for 18 years. Bryan loves archery, archery and oh, did I mention archery? We have two children, Scott who is 15 years old and Madison who is 9 years old. Scott loves all things computer and enjoys working with the media team here at Ramoth. His future plans include the words engineer and computer in them but he is not sure just what path yet! Madison has a love for dance and the arts in general. She loves animals and as an 9 year old plans to be a veterinarian dance teacher! My family brings me joy every day

LENGTH OF SERVICE:
I have been serving Ramoth since August 2006.
REASON FOR SERVING: God has place me here in this season of my life because He knew this is what I needed. He always does. I have grown so much here over these past years, that I sometimes don't recognize myself. It is in His strength I run, and as we work together to grow the Music and Creative Arts Ministry at RBC, He continues to bless us all with the knowledge that HE is LORD, and WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.
FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:
The scripture that I have held onto for most of my adult life is Isaiah 40:13 "Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles, the will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint."
PERSONAL INFORMATION: I received my degree in Music Education from James Madison University and have served in various capacities of Music Ministry for over 30 years. I have served as Choir Director, Children's Choir Coordinator, Music Minister, and as a choir member and soloist. My husband, Donald (JR) and I have been married over 26 years. We have one son, Brandon, who proudly serves in the US Navy. I like to relax at the beach with a good book, while JR is playing golf.

REASON FOR SERVING: I serve since God opened the door for me at a time when I was questioning where He wanted me to be.
FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:
I have two verses that mean a lot to me:
Philippians 4:13 which says “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I am married to Carroll Blake. We have 3 adult sons, Jason, Shawn, and Mark. We also have one grandchild – Noah.

LENGTH of SERVICE:
I have been serving Ramoth February 2009.
REASON FOR SERVING:
My reason for serving is two fold. First I love to create things from nothing. When making the video presentations for the Worship Service, I am praying to find the right graphic or picture that will bring an understanding to what is being said and bring a peace as people view the screens. Second, I love to organize things. According to a former Youth Minister I have a knack for publishing and organizing the publications so that they flow. My prayer is that with these two abilities that the web site will help people find Ramoth as a church that they will want to come to for a visit, then stay and become part of the Ramoth Church Family.
FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:
I have many, but the one that sums it up for me is Psalms 150:6, "Let every thing that hath breathe praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD!"
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I am married to an eccentric, but wonderful man, John. We have been together for 31 years and have been blessed with 6 children; Jason, Anna, Catherine (Cati), Lisa, Nancy, and Torie. We also have a wonderful daughter-in-law, Aaron Hope, 2 precious grandchildren, Hannah & John Noah and one terrific son-in-law, Dane. When I am not busy working on the web site or the media presentations, then I LOVE to scrapbook, read, knit, and hang out with my family

LENGTH of SERVICE: I have been serving Ramoth since 2003.
REASON FOR SERVING: At the early age of 4, I was fascinated watching the lady play the piano at church and listening to the beautiful music that came from that instrument. I thought it was wonderful the way she played the piano and people sang songs to Jesus while she played. I knew even the, that’s what I wanted to do. I loved to sing, and I was always drawn to the piano. I learned to play several hymns by ear until my parents were able to provide piano lessons to me when I was 12 years old. My desire has always been to play the piano for church so that beautiful music would be lifted up to our Lord. It’s been my privilege to have played the piano for church since I was in my teens, and I enjoy it more now than ever! The Bible teaches us that we are to use the gifts that God has given to us; not only to use them, but to grow them. My desire is to serve the Lord with the gift of music that He has given me.
FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE: I have many, but the ones that the Lord uses to bring the most comfort to me are Romans 8:28 and Psalms 46:10. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”(Romans 8:28) and “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”(Psalms 46:10).
PERSONAL INFORMATION: I am married to Tony Sokolowski and we have 3 adult children; Matt, Nikki, and Bryce.
